The KinaseFinder is an ideal service package to elucidate physiological pathways in which protein kinases are involved. By means of our KinaseFinder you may find out whether your protein or peptide of interest can function as substrate of any protein kinase tested. The service is currently offered in a Ser/Thr kinase version comprising 190 Ser/Thr protein kinases and a Tyr kinase version with 81 Tyr protein kinases. You may also have tested a combination of both. All assays will be performed at an ATP concentration of 1 uM.
A list of the kinase panel for each of the two versions of the KinaseFinder can be downloaded as a PDF file:

Proteins provided will be analyzed in a radiometric filter assay. Peptides should be submitted as biotinylated molecules so that testing may be performed in a radiometric assay with Strepta-FlashPlatesTM. Since we test each kinase with only one protein/peptide concentration in singlicate we recommend to confirm the hits in a second experiment (3 substrate concentrations in triplicate).
A quote and detailed information about submission of test samples will be provided upon request. Please inquire!
Characterization of MEK1-KM (mutationally inactivated MEK1) in 95 Ser/Thr protein kinase assays. The profile demonstrates that MEK1-KM is strongly phosphorylated by three protein kinases (B-RAF wt, B-RAF V600E, RAF1 Y340D/Y341D). In addition three other protein kinases appear which phosphorylate MEK1-KM to a lower degree
