In vivo Tumor and Angiogenesis Models
|
Spheroid-Based in vivo Angiogenesis Assay
ProQinase has established a unique in vivo angiogenesis assay with functional human blood vessels in mice. This assay is an innovative method to evaluate small molecule test compounds or antibodies which are directed against a human, endothelial cell-specific target. |

Orthotopic Tumor Models
ProQinase offers orthotopic and metastasizing in vivo tumor models in mice. Most studies with orthotopically implanted tumors are performed with luciferase transfected tumor cell lines. This allows measurement of tumor growth using bioluminescene in vivo imaging. Moreover, the anti-metastatic potency of test compounds can be quantified by ex vivo luciferase analysis in a large panel of organs. |

Subcutaneous Tumor Models / Xenografts
ProQinase offers subcutaneous tumor models in mice using cell lines representing a variety of different cancer types. In most cases the cell lines are of human origin (xenograft models).
