| Soft Agar Assays (Clonogenic Assays) |

ProQinase has established an assay for testing the effect of your compounds on anchorage independent growth in soft agar in various cell lines (clonogenic assay). Anchorage independent growth of cells in soft agar is one of the hallmark characteristics of cellular transformation and uncontrolled cell growth. This 3-dimensional assay is considered superior to using monolayer cultures because cell growth in 3D is more similar to the in vivo cellular environment. |
| Cell Migration Assays |

ProQinase offers a service for testing your compounds in a cell migration assay
on various cell lines. Cell migration is a hallmark of tumor formation
and metastatic spreading. It is relevant for angiogenesis to assure
tumor nutrition as well as for the formation of metastases. Signaling

Cellular Angiogenesis Assay |

ProQinase has established a cellular angiogenesis assay based
on spheroids of human endothelial cells. This assay can be used to
evaluate the angiogenic or anti-angiogenic potential of compounds. The
unique cellular angiogenesis model is an important tool for preselecting
test compounds for further characterization in a related in vivo angiogenesis test system. |
